We are the ancient parish church of Willesden in north-west London, dating back to 938 AD and our foundation by King Athelstan. We are home to the Black Madonna of Willesden, having a rich history, not least as one of the great medieval shrines of Mary, the mother of Jesus, beloved of countless thousands of pilgrims.
